Today I took Tuvuk out to work on the introduction to doubles. I mainly want him to start learning the concept of lining up for the retrieve by my body position. This is one of the first steps in teaching a blind retrieve. I want him to learn that he should run the line that my bodies position is in.
I love these videos!!!! All three dogs did a great job!!!! I think Tuvuk is a "little" jealous!!!!! I can't wait to see the training in person, when I come in April!!!!! Mom
Good job with Tuvuk. I think it is also important for people to see the patience it takes with a pup. Their attention span is short and their tunnel vision takes persistance and consistancy to overcome. If you add their energy and enthusiasm then it really becomes a challenge. The other thing in this video that amazed me was Remington. How an eleven year old dog turns into a 6 month old puppy when he gets to play with you and do what he loves so much. Good job and thanks for sharing this with us.
